Cabo is located on the baja peninsula in Mexico. This once small fishing town is now one of Mexico’s hottest destinations. It’s desert meets ocean makes it a unique experience.
One of my favorite hang out spots is “The Office” on Medano Beach. Come with your swim suit under your clothes and a beach towel and enjoy the beach between margaritas and nachos. Medano is one of the few spots in Cabo where the beach is safe to swim.
THE OFFICE
Another place not to miss is Salvatore’s for some of the best Italian food, yes I said Italian. Every dish is tasty. Portions are huge so you will have leftovers. Salvatore’s is located in downtown Cabo.
SALVATORES
We also love going to Hacienda Cocina for amazing views as well as good food.
HACIENDA COCINA
Head down to Los Cabos (about 45 mins from downtown Cabo) and have brunch at Floras Farm.
FLORA’S FARM
Ok, I could go on and on about the food in Cabo so let’s just quit now. There is also an abundance of nightlife. Squid Roe, Mandala, Nowhere Bar & Cabo Wabo are just a few options.
NIGHTLIFE
Where to stay? One popular all inclusive in Los Cabos is Hyatt Ziva. Although it is about 30 minutes from downtown Cabo I would recommend this as one option. The food and hospitality are great, the pool is large with a fantastic view and they have a kids water park for those bringing their families.
HYATT ZIVA
A little closer to town located in what many refer to as “The Corridor” is Paradisus. This is one of the few hotels offering a swimmable beach. It also made the list as one of the “Leading Hotels of the World”.
PARADISUS
For those that want to be where the action is stay at Cabo ME, home to Taboo Beach Club. Amazing food and drinks, entertainment and prime location make it the perfect place to stay.

Looking for five star accommodations in the heart of Cabo? Check out The Waldorf Astoria at Pedregal or Grand Solmar Lands End.
WALDORF ASTORIA & GRAND SOLMAR
If swimming with whale sharks is on your bucket list travel about 2 hours north to La Paz. This is an amazing place to swim with the juvenile whale sharks in the Sea of Cortez.
WHALE SHARKS
Be sure to stop in Todos Santos along the way for lunch at Tequila Sunrise Bar & Grill located across from the Hotel California.
TODOS SANTOS
Take a boat out to the famous arches. We loved the Clear Boat. Great for photo opps. After getting your pics continue onto Lovers Beach for swimming or snorkeling.
LOVERS BEACH
Get to know the people. I’ve made some very good friends in Cabo. Also donate some time and volunteer. My volunteering is done through the Solmar Foundation.
GIVING BACK
End your day enjoying the sunset.
