How do you see multiple countries in Europe in a short period of time...take a cruise! I visited six countries in 24 days. Taking this cruise allowed me to stay in one room and visit multiple countries. Added 3 nights in Rome at the beginning of the trip and 2 nights in Barcelona at the end of the trip.
There is so much to say about Europe so I am going to narrow down my top favorites.
Rome - Visiting the Trevi Fountain early in the morning to avoid crowds for a great pic is a must...we were there by 6am and the crowds were already starting to form. The Colosseum, purchase your tickets online at least 2 weeks in advance. This is a must see. Find your favorite Piazza (no, not pizza...a piazza is basically a plaza or a gathering place) My favorite was Piazza Navona.

Cinque Terre - book a tour to this place and visit multiple towns in this beautiful seaside town. Riomaggiore & Manarola were stunning with the colorful homes built right on the cliffs. Visit the beach in Monterosso and enjoy the views. Make sure to try pasta with pesto here...this is what this region of Italy is known for.

Mykonos - looks exactly as you picture it from movie and social media posts. White & blue building and winding little streets, windmills and small churches from hundreds of years ago and of course beautiful beaches.

Santorini - The ship docks in Thira and we skipped the donkey ride up the side of the hill and took the tram. We had a perfect day sailing on the bluest water I have ever seen, had amazing Greek food and ended the day exploring Oia. Plenty of pic opportunities in Oia with the cliffside hotels & blue domes.

Malta - A tiny island most of us have not heard of but what a great place to visit. Went on a small fishing boat to the Blue Grotto, explored the old medieval town of Mdina (the filming set of Game of Thrones) and visited ancient ruins of Hagar Qim & Mnajdra Temples, approximately 7,000 years old.
